Dr. A. S. Soin is the Chairman of the Institute of Liver Transplantation and Regenerative Medicine at Medanta. He is one of Asia's most prolific liver transplant surgeons, having performed over 3,000 liver transplants — one of the largest single-centre series in the world. Dr. Soin trained in the UK, where he was a consultant at King's College Hospital, London, before returning to India. He specialises in both living-donor and deceased-donor liver transplantation, along with complex hepatobiliary cancer surgery.
